I got these as a download and decided to check it out and found that it was great! This is a text adventure game where you’re trying to get a girl out of your high school who’s a picture frame.
The game itself is a new way to make new friends. You start at a local cafe, which doesn’t seem like an enjoyable place to hang out. You enter the cafe by finding a window with a keypad, and then you can type in the word “rose” or some other word that will start the adventure. Once you’ve typed the word, you enter the room, and a character is brought out that will allow you to make your next move.
There are a total of eight characters in the game that you can play. They are the Ambiguously Blonde Girl, the Proposal Guy, the Mystery Man, the Teenage Future Man, the Double Date Couple, the Baseball Player, the Fat Boy, and the Newspaper Boy. I love this game because it lets you play as one character in a way that you would never be able to do with a regular text adventure game. Instead of seeing a text box and scrolling through the possibilities, you see the text box and play a game within a game. It’s one of those games that I want to play on my free download games every day.
