Android Bitport.io app allows you to access your bitside account from any Android device!
I’m going to run a quick BitPort IO review because I have been in a desperate need of an excellent BitPort alternative to the Dropbox. After trying the vast Google Play and the free D-Mob, both decided to work out their spots for users.
The Dropbox was excellent, and we were able to synchronize across computers pretty well, but the service was minimal. We couldn’t sync between multiple user accounts, or even a single device. The Dropbox was so great when it was first released that I had no trouble using it, and it quickly became the standard for the Dropbox.
Then the App Store arrived with a couple of BitPort alternatives. BitPort is a company that has created a revolutionary tool for organizing digital files across multiple devices. Their software program contains amazing integration with most of the major platforms and allows you to access all your data on all your devices. Even the Mac got into the game.
The cool thing about the BitPort alternative to the Dropbox is that you can utilize the high quality applications to sync your files across all your devices and access them on any computer that has a supported operating system. The only downside to this is that the bitport service is only compatible with Macs, though there are other iOS alternatives as well. The BitPort App is free, and all the major platforms are supported.
The other app that comes close to matching the capabilities of the BitPort is a third party application called BitPort IO. However, it’s not free. For $19.99, it supports all the platforms, but I found that the price was a little too high, especially considering the free D-Mob App on iTunes.
Here is a BitPort IO review, and I’ve already got a couple of my friends hooked on BitPort! My buddies told me that it offers the same features as the Dropbox, with more flexibility. It even has other apps like the Nova Launcher app, all of which give you access to a wide variety of files and resources, plus allows you to organize all your data.
Overall I think that the BitPort IO is an excellent solution to syncing across multiple devices and works very well for our needs. There are a few downsides that I have with the application. Still, it does offer more than Dropbox does; it provides the added benefit of being completely compatible with multiple platforms. It’s a bit pricier than the Dropbox, but you get more than a few hours of use out of the download.
